Who is he?
Joe Spring is an innovative South African experienced in data and GIS. Currently he serves Analytics departments in the financial, media, and retail industries. Outside of work, he enjoys squash, reading and writing. He is also a keen phone-photographer and technophile.
Joe has won awards for his work as a database manager and sales executive. He has 10 years of experience in location technologies and data analysis. He is an innovative person, whether in a team or on his own, and he is passionate about location and technology, particularly in helping others to make best use of these.

With two first-class degrees, Joe's strong geospatial thinking and an innovative approach to problem-solving combine very well with his open and friendly nature. This combination presents an individual who is well equipped to meet any new situation head-on, adapt very quickly, and excel. Personal Background
Joe loves to play squash, takes fairly good photos and enjoys Parkrun at his local park. He is a leader in his community. He read more than 40 books in 2017, while advancing his studies in Java, logic, data science and theology. Most recently, he won the 2017 NaNoWriMo novel-writing challenge. He currently lives in Johannesburg with his wife and children.
