Any task given to him is performed professionally and up to quality standards... I believe that any task that Joseph takes on will be accomplished with success and also exceed expectations. He has a lot to offer the world and he will exceed in any opportunity that is given to him.
I already have worked together with Joseph remotely for some time and have always had a pleasant feeling working together with him. For a new project in South Africa, I recently had to travel back to South Africa, where I have worked closely together with Joseph and I must say that I was really happy with all the help (much more than 'just his job') that I received from him during this difficult setup. Without Josephs help it for sure would have been much more difficult to finish all on time.
Joseph has proven leadership experience as the chairperson of a university student society. I have found him to be a thoughtful, self-reflexive leader who is not afraid to ask for help. He also shows a great deal of care and interest in the people he leads.
Joseph is highly intelligent, responsible, thorough, takes initiative and is not afraid of hard work... he was respected by staff and students alike. His academic record shows him to be a consistent and studious person who achieved excellent marks. During his third year, he wrote a third year project on a very challenging topic and I was impressed by the thoroughness with which he approached his topic. Moreover, he always took care to try and respond to advice and criticism from his supervisor – which is something that many students are unable to do at this level. I have no doubt that Joseph has the ability to achieve at whatever he sets his mind to and that he will develop into an asset for anybody who employs him. If you have any further questions then please do not hesitate to contact me.
As a colleague, I quickly developed a sense of respect and admiration for Joseph. Even in those early days, it was evident to me that he was a bright, thoughtful, and articulate person. I could also see that he was very passionate about whatever he did or believed, with a natural ability to engage others. Working with Joseph on a number of projects I could see that he was a highly focused, energetic and driven professional. He consistently took on challenging roles and then performed over and above what was expected of him.
Joseph was voted as the Isaiah 268 Chairperson because of his passion and thoughtfulness and proved to be that and more. He was very committed to his position and the people on the committee and members. He is a thoughtful and considerate person who showed great leadership in not only making important decisions but listening to others when need be. He was a great mentor and was willing to give us guidance to whoever needed it, despite his great workload. He was also very motivational and inspirational.
We found him to be a diligent and hardworker, with a pleasant and amenable personality. In our employment he completed work experience in GIS and CAD mapping using ArcMap and AutoCAD 2000. He was a quick learner and was able to competently use the new skills he learnt.
I was impressed by his application of GIS and office software tools to produce the best outcomes in a problem-solving situation...I wholeheartedly recommend Joe for his work ethic, contextual thinking, and skills as a Geographer and GIS Technician.
